Inauguration – 72nd Annual Sessions of SLAAS
Dean Faculty of Education and General President, Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (SLAAS) inaugurating the 72nd Annual Sessions of SLAAS on 5 th December 2016 at BMICH. The chief guest of the ceremony was HE Maithripala Sirisena, President of Sri Lanka.
Inauguration – Certificate Course on Research Methods
The Certificate course on Research Methodology conducted by the Faculty of Education for the ministry and other education officials was inaugurated for the second time on 20th November 2016. This course is a collaboration between the Faculty of Education and Ministry of Education. The participants of the first intake rated the course at a high level.
Curriculum Development for B.Ed (Primary Education)
A two day residential workshop on Curriculum Development for the direct intake of B.Ed (Primary Education) was held on 22nd and 23rd October at The Palms hotel. The B.Ed curriculum will include both academic and professional components. Faculty members and invited subject experts engaged in drafting the curriculum.
