Inauguration of M.Phil /Ph.D programme 2018/2021
The inauguration of M.Phil /Ph.D programme was held on 09th October 2018 at the Faculty of Education. The chief coordinator of the programme, the Dean, Prof Manjula Vithanapathirana and the co-coordinator Mr.Kapila Bandara were present to welcome the students.The first ever international student for the M.Phil programme was enrolled from China.

Negotiating for Exchange for staff and students
The first staff exchanges were implemented in the beginning of October 2018, when three Deans from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, came to Metropolia.
