Pak-Sri Lanka Higher Education Faculty Exchange Fellowship Program

Dr. Tahira Bibi, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education, Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Islamabad undertook an academic visit to the Faculty of Education at University of Colombo under the recommendation and supervision of Professor H. M. L. Kumari. The purpose of the visit was to enhance academic cooperation and strengthen institutional collaboration between the two universities.

During her stay, Dr. Bibi contributed to teaching and research activities and engaged in scholarly discussions with faculty members. She also delivered a series of lectures and seminars open to the academic community, promoting knowledge sharing and intellectual exchange within the faculty.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Bibi participated in professional development and community outreach activities, further strengthening the partnership between the two institutions. The visit also created opportunities to explore future research collaborations and to establish plans for long-term institutional cooperation. She initiated online academic interactions between MPhil and PhD scholars of both universities, promoting sustained research dialogue, opportunities for joint supervision, and collaborative research in the field of education.
