Written and directed by Chamika Hathlahawatta, Kolamba Hathe Thorana was presented by Apurwa Theatre Group, Sri Lanka at Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts (SRC). Performed in Sinhala, the 120-minute production brought an international flavour to the BRM 2026 stage, showcasing Sri Lanka’s vibrant theatrical traditions and contemporary storytelling.
The performance beautifully reflected the festival’s global spirit, strengthening cultural dialogue through the universal language of theatre.
