Portrait Unveiling in the Department of Humanities Education
The function to unveil the portraits of the former Heads of the Department of Humanities Education, University of Colombo was held on the 14th of February 2019 , Dean of the Faculty of Education, Professor Manjula Vithanapthirana was the Chief guest. Former Heads of Department Professor C. Kariyawasam and Professor Daya Rohana Athukorale and Dr. M.C Weerasingha son of Former Head of Department Provessor Henry Weerasingha were guests of honour.
All the members of the Faculty of Education participated and the present Head of the Department, Mr, S, Dahanayake welcomed the gathering while the former Head and Present Senior Professor in the Department Professor Marie Perera proposed the vote of thanks.
