2nd International Research symposium of the Faculty of Education(IRS-2022)
The faculty of the education of the university of Colombo held its second International Research Symposium on the 25th of November 2022 in online mode. The theme of the symposium was Digital Transformation and best practices in mitigating challenges in education. This conference provided a platform to researchers in the field of education related disciplines to disseminate their findings, knowledge exchange and knowledge creation towards the development of education in Sri Lanka.
Prof. Indika Liyanage,Beigin Normal University,Hong kong,Baptist University,University International College(UIC) in China and Dr.George R.S.Weir,University of Strathclyde in lasgow United Kingdom delivered the two keynote speeches. This international research symposium was successfully conducted under the patronage of Dr. Kapila bandara the Dean of the faculty of Education University of Colombo and was chaired by Dr.S.S.Dahanayake together with the co-chair Ms.Jeewanie Herath and was graced by Vice chancellor of the University of colombo Senior Proffessor H.D.Karunaratne.
