Dissemination Seminar of National Assessment of Learning Outcomes of the Subjects of Mathematics and English of Students Completing Grade 04 and Grade 8 in the Year 2022/2023
Dissemination seminar of the Grade 04 and 08 National Assessments was held on the 29th of August 2024 at the Faculty of Education under the auspices of the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Colombo, Senior Prof. H.D. Karunaratne, Additional Secretary (School Activities) Ministry of Education, Ms. Rukmalie Kariyawasam, and the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Kapila Bandara. The dissemination seminar was attended by the Director General of the National Institute of Education, Chairman of the National Education, Commission, officials from the Ministry of Education, Ms. Erin Tanner – Chief of Education/UNICEF, academics of the University of Colombo, members of Board of Management of the NEREC, various Directors of Education, and educational researchers.
