Launch of the Journal of Educational Psychology and Assessment (JEPA) – Issue 1

The Journal of Educational Psychology and Assessment (JEPA), Issue 1, was officially launched on Friday, 21 August 2026, at the Faculty Board Meeting of the Faculty of Education, University of Colombo.

This marks an important milestone for the Department of Educational Psychology and the Faculty of Education, providing a dedicated scholarly platform for disseminating high-quality research in educational psychology, assessment, education, and related fields.

The launch reflects the Faculty’s commitment to promoting a strong culture of research, scholarly publication, knowledge sharing, and evidence-based educational practice. JEPA aims to provide researchers, academics, educators, and practitioners with a credible platform to share innovative research findings and contribute to the advancement of educational psychology and assessment.

The successful launch of Issue 1 is the result of the collective efforts and support of the editorial team, reviewers, authors, academic staff, and the Faculty of Education. This achievement provides a strong foundation for the continued development and growth of JEPA as a scholarly journal.
